Pacto Group: A Clean Energy and Entrepreneurship Trajectory

Interview with Rodrigo Pedroso, CEO of Group Pacto.

In the last episode of our podcast, I had the privilege of talking to Rodrigo Pedroso, an entrepreneur in the energy sector and a central figure in Group Pacto.

With years of experience in the electricity sector, Rodrigo shared with us his journey and insights into the energy transition. Group Pacto, a pioneering company in the clean and renewable energy sector, has a fascinating history that is intertwined with the trajectory of its founder, Rodrigo Pedroso. A civil engineer by training, Rodrigo followed a path that took him from the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), and then to the creation of a company that is now a reference in the market.

The Origin of Pacto Energia

Grupo Pacto was born 24 years ago with a clear purpose: to be a 100% vertical company in the energy sector. Rodrigo, with his passion for the area, saw the opportunity to build something significant. “I’m very proud of this entire trajectory,” he says. "The gray hair I have acquired over the years is a testament to that commitment."

From ANEEL to Entrepreneurship

Rodrigo began his career at ANEEL, where he delved into the complexities of the electricity sector. This experience was fundamental in shaping his vision and inspiring him to undertake. "ANEEL was a school for me", he shares. "I learned about regulation, technical challenges and the importance of sustainability."

The Energy Transition and the Future Today

The Pacto Group is a reality. With several arms and fronts of activity, the company is at the forefront of the energy transition. "Our mission is to provide sustainable and innovative solutions", explains Rodrigo. “From power generation to storage and distribution, we are committed to a cleaner, more resilient future.” Conclusion Rodrigo ends our conversation with optimism: "Clean energy is not just a trend; it is a necessity.

Group Pacto will continue to lead this change, and I'm excited for what the future holds." To learn more about Grupo Pacto and its journey, listen to the full episode on our podcast.
