From August 27 to 29, São Paulo, Brazil, hosted the largest solar energy exhibition in Latin America. This three-day event featured Solis, the world’s third largest inverter manufacturer, showcasing innovative solutions tailored to the Brazilian solar market.
The exhibition was a hive of activity, with enthusiastic visitors flocking to the Solis booth to interact with technical engineers and learn more about the company’s products. Solis displayed six inverter models at the event, covering a wide range of applications, including ground-mounted solutions, commercial and industrial solutions, and residential energy storage systems.
A technical engineer from Solis commented: “Compared to previous years, this year’s exhibition saw a significant increase in interest in our ground-mounted products. The 350kW model, launched in January and specifically designed for ground-mounted power plants, attracted notable attention, while our residential products were previously the main focus.”
Solis’ flagship utility model, the S6-GU(333-350)K-EHV, has distinguished itself with its exceptional performance, safety and cost-effectiveness, making it ideal for large-scale PV projects. It offers a maximum efficiency of up to 99.0%, ensuring optimal energy production. With IP66 protection and C5 corrosion resistance, it performs well in high salinity and high pollution environments. The model also features string-level monitoring and intelligent IV curve scanning for advanced operation and maintenance.
In 2023, Solis achieved the highest global shipment volume for residential inverters, according to Wood Mackenzie. Many attendees interacted with Solis’ residential products, experiencing the inverter displays first-hand. The S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS and S6-EH1P(12-16)K03-NV-YD-L-US energy storage inverters, designed for residential use, were highlighted for their ability to ensure reliable power supply. These systems are compatible with generators, extending backup time during grid outages, and can operate together to form a microgrid, offering flexibility and resilience.
Lei Desheng, Solis Country Manager in Brazil, introduced: “Since Solis entered Brazil, we have achieved a shipment volume of approximately 6GW.
